The sections below are a combined reference. Legally distinct obligations for salon owners and customers are set out in the dedicated pages linked above. In case of conflict, the applicable dedicated page controls for that user type.

SECTION 1: About QueueCut

QueueCut is an online salon booking marketplace platform operated by Genuine Goods Outlet, a business registered in Jharkhand, India under GSTIN 20FQWPB0689F1ZR. QueueCut connects customers with independent salon businesses for appointment booking and related services.

SECTION 2: Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QueueCut (website at www.queuecut.co.in or any related mobile application), you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use QueueCut.

SECTION 3: User Accounts

3.1 Registration: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.

3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.3 Account Types: QueueCut has two account types: Customer accounts (for booking salon services) and Salon Owner accounts (for listing and managing salon businesses).

3.4 Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

SECTION 4: Partner Salon terms — summary

4.1 Listing Requirements: Salon owners must provide accurate business information including valid GST/PAN details where applicable.

4.2 Service Accuracy: Salon owners are responsible for maintaining accurate service listings, pricing, and availability on the platform.

4.3 Platform Commission: QueueCut charges a platform commission of 12% (twelve percent) on all online payments processed through the platform. This commission is automatically deducted at the time of payment settlement.

4.4 Walk-in sales: Payments for walk-in customers (not booked through QueueCut online checkout) are not subject to the platform commission. The 12% (twelve percent) commission applies only to online payments processed through the platform.

4.5 Settlement: Payment settlements to salon owners are processed after deducting the applicable platform commission and TCS (Tax Collected at Source) as required under Section 52 of the CGST Act, 2017.

4.6 TCS Compliance: QueueCut, as an e-commerce operator, collects GST TCS at 1% (0.5% CGST + 0.5% SGST) on taxable supplies made through the platform, as required under Section 52 of the CGST Act, 2017 for applicable intra-state transactions.

4.7 Independent Business: Salon owners are independent businesses, not employees or agents of QueueCut. QueueCut is not responsible for the quality of services provided by salon owners.

4.8 Cancellation and No-show Policy:Salon owners must honor the platform's no-show and cancellation policies as configured during onboarding.

SECTION 5: User (customer) terms — summary

The binding User Terms of Service are published at /en/terms/customer. In brief: QueueCut is a booking platform; Partner Salons provide services; online bookings require advance payment via Razorpay; after payment capture there is no cancellation or refund except narrow exceptions (documented technical failure; Partner Salon suspended by QueueCut before service). OTP-based completion may apply. Reviews must be honest. Disputes: laws of India; Jharkhand jurisdiction subject to mandatory consumer rights.

SECTION 6: Payments

6.1 Payment Processing: All online payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a RBI-regulated payment gateway. QueueCut does not store card or UPI credentials.

6.2 Payment Methods: QueueCut accepts UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking through the Razorpay payment gateway.

6.3 Currency: All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR).

6.4 GST: Applicable GST will be charged on platform fees and services as required under Indian tax law.

6.5 Failed Transactions: In case of a failed transaction where payment is deducted but booking is not confirmed, the amount will be refunded within 5–7 business days.

SECTION 7: Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Post defamatory, abusive, or offensive content
  • Manipulate reviews or ratings
  • Use automated tools to scrape or crawl the platform
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the platform's normal functioning

SECTION 8: Intellectual Property

8.1 QueueCut's Content: All content on the platform including logos, trademarks, software, and design elements are owned by or licensed to QueueCut and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8.2 User Content: By submitting reviews, photos, or other content, you grant QueueCut a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content on the platform.

SECTION 9: Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of QueueCut is governed by our Privacy Policy (also available at www.queuecut.co.in/privacy), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. QueueCut complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

SECTION 10: Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 Service Availability: QueueCut does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. We may suspend services for maintenance without notice.

10.2 Salon Services: QueueCut is a marketplace platform and does not provide salon services directly. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by salon owners.

10.3 Limitation of Liability:To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, QueueCut's aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you to QueueCut in the three months preceding the claim.

10.4 Indirect Damages: QueueCut shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

SECTION 11: Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless QueueCut, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of the platform
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

SECTION 12: Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution: We encourage users to first contact us at support@queuecut.co.in to resolve disputes informally.

12.2 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

12.3 Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India.

12.4 Consumer Protection: Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian consumer laws.

SECTION 13: Changes to Terms

QueueCut reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when Terms were last revised.

SECTION 14: Grievance Officer
